Public Realm

Australand is investing significantly in Port Coogee's public realm to establish a strong connection between people, architecture and the overall urban environment.

Lighting, art, street furniture and public open spaces will contribute to creating an attractive place where people will truly want to live, work and play.

Public Art Program

Public art will be integral to Port Coogee developing its own unique character.

An exciting program incorporating sculptures, landscaping treatments and the naming of parks and streets will feature throughout the residential estate and marina to reflect the rich history and culture of Cockburn.

Art will interpret five key themes:

  • Indigenous
  • Maritime
  • Settlement and agriculture
  • Industrial
  • Coastal ecology and geology

There will be plenty of opportunities for the local community to contribute their memories and ideas to a range of elements designed to enhance the visual experience at Port Coogee.

Masterplan

Just five minutes from Fremantle, Port Coogee will be a lifestyle in itself; shops, restaurants, a boutique hotel and a waterside amphitheatre, all part of this stunning residential estate.
